Phome

Due to corona pandemic restrictions my FH Joanneum Exhibition Design fellow student Eva and I thought over how to push communication and interaction of people and at the same time keep them in touch with art exhibitions. We had the idea people could create their own exhibitions at home and share them digitally.
PHOME, derived from photo and home, was born.
In just a few simple steps anyone becomes a photographer, artist and curator.

All you have to do is to take five zoomed pictures of details within your living area and one overviewing wide-angle shot including all chosen detail elements and e-mail them to phome.gallery@gmail.com.
The PHOME gallery team uses these photos to create all unique personal digital exhibitions and makes them available to the public on Instagram.

After the pandemic ends all submitted photo series were presented as a part of a public exhibition in one of the FH buildings.​
